We follow a consistent, teacher-led weekly structure that balances academics, outdoor activities, and hands-on learning. This structure provides stability and clear expectations, while weekly themes and academic focus areas help guide activities and projects. Although each week has its own theme, academics remain central, and learning is thoughtfully adjusted to keep it meaningful, engaging, and appropriately challenging.
Outdoor activities are built into every day. Campers participate in sports, movement-based activities, and nature exploration that support physical development, cooperation, and positive social skills—all while reinforcing learning through fun, themed experiences.

We also take advantage of our local community in the Vellore neighbourhood of Woodbridge. Campers participate in supervised community walks and visits to nearby destinations such as the splash pad at Matthew Park, the Vaughan Public Library at the Vellore Village Community Centre, and the vibrant parks and spaces around Vellore. These outings provide real-world learning opportunities and help connect classroom concepts to the surrounding community.
Throughout the summer, campers also participate in workshops led by established local Vaughan organizations and businesses, which complement weekly themes and enhance campers’ learning through interactive, hands-on experiences.

Pizza lunch is available to purchase on Fridays - Pizza, Juice box, school safe snack, and popsicle.

Junior Inventors & Hands-On Engineering
Overview of the Week
Campers step into the shoes of inventors as they design, build, and test daily engineering projects. From constructing cardboard structures and mini catapults to creating marble mazes and simple mechanical levers, campers turn raw ideas into physical creations using real-world tools and materials.
Academic & STEM Focus:
Applied Math: Structural measurement, spatial awareness, counting unit weights, and scale estimations.
Engineering & Physics: Forces and motion (gravity, friction, leverage), load distribution, structural integrity testing, and iterative design.
-
Wilderness Survival & Outdoor Eco-Lab
Overview of the Week
A completely screen-free outdoor exploration week where campers use local nature trails and grounds to learn practical outdoor skills. Campers practice building stick shelters, navigating with maps and compasses, identifying local plant life, and discovering how living things thrive in local ecosystems.
Academic & STEM Focus:
Environmental Biology: Ecosystem food chains, plant anatomy, soil health, and living organism classification.
Practical Math & Geography: Compass angles, cardinal directions, topographical map literacy, and spatial navigation math.
-
Studio Fine Arts & Creative Crafts
Overview of the Week
Campers dive into tactile artistic expression, blending classic fine art techniques with natural crafts. Throughout the week, they experiment with canvas painting, clay sculpting, printmaking, and color blending to build a multi-piece visual portfolio for an end-of-week showcase.
Academic & STEM Focus
Material Chemistry: Chemical properties of clay, polymer drying times, natural dye extractions, and pigment mixing ratios.
Geometry in Art: Spatial perspective, golden ratios, grid-scaling models, and geometric symmetry.
-
Global Codebreakers & Secret Agent Mysteries
Overview of the Week
Campers act as top-secret detectives solving a new interactive camp mystery each day. They search for physical clues, write secret messages, decode encrypted ciphers, and work collaboratively to crack logic puzzles to solve the case by Friday.
Academic & STEM Focus:
Literacy & Logic: Deductive reasoning, evidence analysis, reading comprehension, and creative crime-solving journal entries.
Mathematics & Cryptography: Pattern recognition, substitution ciphers, frequency analysis, and algorithmic problem-solving.
-
Active Leadership & World Sports Games
Overview of the Week
A high-tempo week focused on physical movement, sportsmanship, and cooperative outdoor games. Campers participate in team sports, obstacle courses, and strategy challenges while discovering how communication and planning lead to team victory.
Academic & STEM Focus
Statistics & Math: Scorekeeping, calculating player stats and team averages, tracking sprint times, and timing data collection.
Human Physiology & Physics: Cardiovascular health, balance, trajectory angles in ball sports, and biomechanics of movement.
-
Storybook & Character Builders
Overview of the Week
Classic tales, myths, and adventures serve as the launching pad for camper creativity. Campers write their own original adventure scripts, build stage props and costumes out of craft materials, and practice public speaking through interactive theater and storytelling.
Academic & STEM Focus
Literacy & Communication: Character arc development, narrative writing structure, public speaking confidence, and vocabulary expansion.
Creative Design & Math: Measurement for stage set design, prop balance, spatial coordination on stage, and scale proportions for costumes.
